Maximum tree provide or we can say produce oxygen during day time. When photosynthesis occur they comsume carbondioxide and release oxygen as a by product and during night time they relase carbondioxide and consume oxygen. Thats the reason why elder said tht we shouldn't sleep below tree during night.
The pepal(Ficus religiosa) realse oxygen all time thats why pepal tree are worship as a god in hindu mythology..
